I was introduced to yoga decades ago during my first year of college. I was immediately intrigued by the practice and it’s benefits. I continued practicing yoga and developed a strong home practice while occasionally going to studios while I lived in cA. I finally got my first 200 RYT in Oct 2012 at AYTT with Dave and Cheryl Oliver. I got my second 200 hour RYT in Kundalini Yoga in Nov 2015. In between I did trainings for yoga nidra and sound healing. I am also a level 2 Reiki practioner in the Usui lineage. I was initiated to level 1 in 2003 and to level 2 in 2004. I find it to be such a wonderful and useful practice. It is an amazing healing practice for physical and/or emotional issues. I practice yoga and meditation daily. I especially love Kundalini meditations as they incorporate movements and/or chanting during the practice. Many people struggle with traditional meditation of simply sitting, being still and quiet. Kundalini is a very experiential practice! No matter what you are wanting to address it is likely there is a Kundalini meditation to focus on just that. Kundalini also incorporates sound healing into the practice and most practices end with a gong healing. My hope is those unfamiliar with Kundalini will give it a try and experience the benefits of the practice.
